McMenamins High Gravity Brewfest
Scheduled every year in January, there could be no better timing, seeing as this is one of the best times of the year to visit Bend. The High Gravity Brewfest gives you the opportunity to delve right into the very depths of Central Oregon’s craft beer scene, where those bold and huge beers get sipped from four mind-blowing fire pits.

Annual Cascade Cycling Classic
Bend, OR, welcomes both residents and visitors alike to the longest running-stage race in North America. The event boasts of having had the leading women and men racers in the world take part in the competitive event. The best thing about this race is that every cycler, amateur and pro, adult and kid, is welcome. Scheduled to take place around May, the Annual Cascade Cycling Classic is set to make the most out of the ‘shoulder season’, which allows cyclers to use safer routes and enjoy better accommodations.
Bend Beer Chase
If you are in search of a ‘quick thrill’, be sure to try out The Bend Beer Chase! This event runs for just a day, and it features a 6-people 55 miles long running relay, with differently distanced legs (12 in total, each ranging from 4 miles to 8 miles). The run starts from Bend, goes all the way to Redmond, then goes back to finish in Bend. If the team has three people, each individual will take 4 legs; if it has six people, then each will run two legs.
